The basic ingredient of our rum comes from molasses. The distillation is carried out by the well-known distillery, Travellers Liquors.
The rum is then stored in bourbon barrels, which gives it a full-bodied character.
Afterwards, the noble drop is finished in former Madeira barrels in Germany, which gives the rum its beautiful fruity aromas.
This is accompanied by a taste with notes of roasted wood, sweet oak and chocolate.
The T. Sonthi is bottled with a pleasant alcohol content. Our XO owes its great dark color exclusively to the influence of the barrel.
The rum was not colored.
It has been slightly sweetened (less than 20g of sugar per litre), making it less sweet than our Barbados and Panama products.
